Silencers are known for suppressing the sound intensity of muzzle recoil when guns are discharged. Ignorance is a state of not knowing in any range of topics to include educational, or general knowledge and awareness. In view of this, for many individuals ignorance is the silencer on the gun pointed at your head. Ignorance is actually a choice to not know or acknowledge information that is readily accessible. We choose to ignore or accept different information or knowledge. When we objectively accept it we become more aware. When we ignore it we become or stay ignorant. That choice of ignorance is causing a slow deterioration resulting in an overall dilapidated state of mental and physical health.
